  • HTML/CSS modifications

  • Content updates through CMS

  • Minor formatting corrections

These services are limited to modification of existing website content and structure.

2. Definition of a “Change”

For service tracking and billing purposes, a change is defined as any individual modification made to the website as requested by the client.

Examples of changes include:

  • Editing text content

  • Replacing or adding an image

  • Updating links or buttons

  • Editing page sections

  • Adding or removing content blocks

  • Updating SEO fields such as meta title or description

Each modification request may include multiple changes depending on the elements involved.

3. HTML Modification Policy

For HTML-based websites, changes are calculated based on HTML elements.

Each HTML tag modification will be counted as 1 change.

Examples:

  • Changing <h1> heading text ? 1 change

  • Editing a <p> paragraph ? 1 change

  • Updating <a href> link ? 1 change

  • Changing <img src> or image tag ? 1 change

  • Adding or removing an HTML element ? 1 change per tag

If multiple HTML tags are edited in one request, each tag modification will be counted separately.

4. CMS Website Edits

For websites managed through a Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress or custom CMS:

  • Editing one content block or section ? 1 change

  • Updating a banner image ? 1 change

  • Editing product or service description ? 1 change per item

Large content edits affecting multiple elements may be counted as multiple changes.

5. Full Page Content Change Policy

If a client requests complete modification of a webpage, including major changes in text, images, sections, or layout, it will be treated as a full page content redesign instead of individual changes.

Pricing for full page modification:

  • HTML Website Page Update: ?2500 per page

  • CMS Website Page Update: ?2000 per page

This applies when:

  • Most or all content on the page is replaced

  • Page sections are significantly rearranged

  • Multiple images and text blocks are updated together

Exception:
Logical or database-driven components such as:

  • Dynamic data blocks

  • Product listings

  • Database-driven modules

  • Custom application logic

are not included in the above pricing and will be quoted separately based on complexity.

6. Change Request Submission

All modification requests must be submitted through one of the following official channels:

  • Support Ticket

  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management System)

Each request should clearly include:

  • Website page URL

  • Exact details of the requested change

  • Replacement text, images, or files (if applicable)

Incomplete or unclear requests may result in delays in processing the modification request.

7. Turnaround Time

Estimated completion time depends on the complexity of the request.

Typical timelines:

  • Moderate updates: 2–3 business days

  • Larger modification requests: timeline will be provided after review

Urgent or priority requests may be subject to additional charges.

8. Out-of-Scope Work

The following services are not included under standard modification services:

  • Full website redesign

  • Development of new features or modules

  • Major layout restructuring

  • API integrations

  • Website migration

  • Security issue resolution or malware removal

Such services will require a separate quotation and approval.

9. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and reviewing completed changes.

If additional edits are required due to incorrect instructions or revised requirements from the client, those will be counted as new changes.

10. Backup & Safety

KAK Infotech may perform backups before major modifications if backup service is paid; however, clients are encouraged to maintain their own backups of website data and content.

11. Policy Updates

KAK Infotech reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will apply to all future modification requests.
