International Jain forum was founded in Delhi on 8th May 2004, with the spirit to make efforts to propagate the principles of Jain Thirthanker Lord Mahavira “JEEYO AUR JEENE DO”. IJF stands for the spread of Jain principles of LORD MAHAVIRA, Non-violence, (Ahinsa), Truth (Satya), Non-stealth (Achorya), Celebacy (Brahmcharya) & Renunciation (Aparigraha). These five principles are universally accepted for all casts and religions.
The world is passing through the phase of terrorism. The existence of tolerance has subdued; the world is running behind wealth. In spite of worldly comforts’ mental peace and good health is not available to the mankind. The principle of Aparigraha is a help to the needy person. Ahinsa is not only the stoppage of butchering the animals, it is the thinking by heart, speech and deeds not to hurt others. This thinking helps to stop terrorism, unite the society and creates International brotherhood.
